    David John and the Comstock Cowboys carry that "Wild West" spirit in their brand of cowboy music everywhere they go.  The music can simply be described as cowboy, western and country in its purest form.

    Enjoy a lively performance of original and traditional cowboy songs from their top selling Compact Disc "SONGS OF THE OLD WEST."

    Because each member has background vocal parts to sing, this group brings out that full sound reminiscent of the "Sons of the Pioneers."

    Take yourself back in time with classic cowboy favorites: "I Got Spurs that Jingle, Jangle, Jingle,"  "Take Me Back to My Boots and Saddle," and "Ghost Riders in the Sky."

     A subtle blending of new and old, their songs tell of life, death, horses and cowboys, taking us back to a simpler time.  Original songs "The Trail of the Bandit" and "Goodbye Sierra Madre" tell of these times, coupled with David John's story of the horse Comanche, the lone survivor of the Battle of Little Bighorn.
