Hank Snow

Canada’s greatest country singer died in Nashville at the age of 85. In a career that spanned 45 years, Canadian-born Hank sold over 70 million records and recorded 100 albums for RCA. An early mentor of Elvis Presley, Hank toured as the “Singing Ranger” with his trained horse, “Shawnee” for many years. His number one hit “I’m Movin’ On” stayed at the top of the country charts for the entire year of 1950.
