Fort Starke, should know the name of James Warner Bellah.
Mr. Bellah authored the legendary cavalry epics of John Ford's
unforgettable cavalry trilogy, Fort Apache, She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, and Rio
Grande, starring John Wayne. Not only did Bellah write the three screenplays, he
adapted them from his own short stories: "Massacre," "Mission Without a
Name," and "The Big Hunt." Bellah cut these characters from the faded blue
