“The All-American Cowboy Grill” is the perfect book for Western fans who want to take their passion to the kitchen. With more than 200 pages of recipes plus photos on every page, this is a fun and fact-filled cookbook.
Recipes aside, the book is well-organized and easy to use. The recipes are associated with Western stars and you can use the index to search either by your favorite star of by the type of food you want to cook. You can also use the list of guest ranches and restaurants in the book to try some of the recipes directly from the 200 Western stars who contributed them.
Authors Cheryl Rogers-Barnett (Roy’s daughter!), Ken Beck and Jim Clark really did their homework when compiling the material for this cookbook. There are fun Western facts and awesome quotes sprinkled liberally throughout and all in all this is definitely a good addition to any cowpoke’s kitchen or Western book collection.
