TOMBSTONE TRIBUTES

Janet Leigh
by: Robert Rakauskas

Janet Leigh

It is for a certain fateful shower in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho that Janet Leigh, who died on October 3, 2004, at 77 years of age, will certainly be most remembered. Nevertheless, before that classic thriller, Ms. Leigh had appeared in a great variety of first-class films, including memorable Westerns as well, such as The Naked Spur (1953), starring Jimmy Stewart and Robert Ryan. Readers will find one of Janet Leigh's final and most revealing interview and the definitive profile of her career in Collector's Issue #6 of Wildest Westerns.
