The Full Monte:
Complete Recordings
Artist: Monte Hale

Reviewed by: Crystal Samuelian

Old-time Western music recordings are few and far between these days, and "The Full Monte: Complete recordings" is an essential part of any Singing Cowboy fan's collection.
This collection of Monte Hale ballads showcases his awesome voice and the older Western movie style of music.
Although the sound quality leaves a little to be desired (The songs sound as if they are the original LP recordings with a fair share of pops and hisses.), it is obvious that the emphasis has been placed on preserving the historic content and does not deter the listener from an enjoyable experience.
Gene Autry just may have been right when he said that Mont Hale's voice is the best of all the Singing Cowboys.
