An accomplished accordion player of the Golden West Cowboys and a Country Hall of Famer, Pee Wee King appeared at the Grand Ole Opry during the ’30s and ’40s. King was one of the writers of “The Tennessee Waltz”; he appeared in Flame of the West (1945) and The Rough, Tough West (1952). During his film stints, King moved to Louisville, Kentucky where he continued to perform in various television shows.
