Mike Mazurki

Western Villain: Mike Mazurki

by: Ed G. Lousararian

Mazurki has something for Lou Costello in "Abbott & Costello Go to Hollywood"

Once upon a time there lived a giant in the valley. His name was Mike Mazurki.
As an actor, he added excitement to more than 350 films and television shows.

During his stay at the hospital in the Fall of '87, I wasn't thrilled about having
to stick a needle in the arm of the gargantuan man who had virtually played
nothing but bone-crushing thugs, henchmen and barbarians named "Rhino,"
Splitface," "Igor," "Bigfoot," and "Moose." I knocked on his door and heard
in a deep, rough voice that I instantly recognized, "Come in."

There was the giant himself, whose bed could hardly contain his 6'5",
265 pound frame....................................................
