"You Know My Name"
Movie Review

Reviewed by: Sean Strebin

(1999) Sam Elliott, Arliss Howard, Carolyn McCormick, Walter Olkewicz, James Gammon, R. Lee Ermey, James Parks, Sheila McCarthy, Nataalia Rey.

You Know My Name is a riveting Western that stars Sam Elliott, who also executive produced this gem. Billed as a TNT Original, the film is based on the true story of Marshall Bill Tilghman, a silent movie director, who picks up his guns when a nearby mining town becomes the center for drug running, guided secretly by Federal agent Wiley (Arliss Howard). Written and directed by John Kent Harrison, the film is solid. You Know My Name was premiered on TNT in the fall, 1999.
